The Bruin Vision Project (BVP) is an undergraduate organization at UCLA committed to providing vision screening services to the underserved LA communities. Local optometrists are invited to help alongside these students on various weekends during the spring quarter. Please contact health directors Nina Pham or Rachel Wong at email@example.com. The JSEI Affiliates, UCLA Stein Eye Institute's volunteer branch, is currently recruiting vision professionals to volunteer for the Preschool Vision Screenings Program (PVSP). Desired candidates must enjoy working with school-aged children and be willing to travel to the West LA and San Fernando Valley preschools. The shift would be a 2-4 hour slot on Tuesday through Thursday mornings, once a month, providing important evaluations for refractive errors, amblyopia, and strabismus.
