In addition to state representation, COA membership is your gateway to membership at the local and the national levels. Once you apply to COA, you will also be affiliated with the American Optometric Association and the Los Angeles County Optometric Society.

-Protect your license to practice in California
-Represent the interests of optometrists in the California legislature and the courts

-Offer quality continuing education programs to meet license requirements
